How Many Hours do you work a week? Tim Ferris thinks you should only be working 4 hrs a week. Check out his book The 4 Hour Work Week to find out why. I work about 45-50 hrs a week and get paid overtime.

I normally work close to 50hrs/wk without any over-time.
ReplyDeleteYet, I can't complain because I have a fairly flexible schedule and have some weeks when I work only 30-35hrs.
Unfortunately, I do have the weeks though were I work 60-70hrs. So it all comes out in the wash in the end.

I work in retail; the concept of a 4 hour work week sounds nuts.
ReplyDeleteBut I know of a greasy spoon in a college town which makes money in only 12 hours a week: they're open only on Thurs-Fri-Sat from 11pm to 3am to serve the drunken bar crowd.,
The drunk crowd is a good target audience especially if your selling food or drink
