The Amazon Kindle vs. the Apple Ipad
Amazon.com came out with a electronic book reading device called the Kindle a few years ago priced at $300. It started to sell and then Barnes and Noble made one called the Nook, and it sold. Now Apple has recently unveiled the Ipad $899 and the Applites are going bananas. Basically it is a Kindle with color and the ability to play games and look at pictures. I see the advantages to having an electronic reader versus a library of actual books, but I still don't think I need one. Final analysis Kindle good idea from Amazon, Ipad updated version from Apple. I will not be purchasing either one anytime soon. This technology does change the way to purchase and sell information and pushes for e-delivery which is interesting.

Canadian dollar trumps the US dollar for the first time in history.
In other news, rate cut by the Fed bumps Wall Street into positive territory and my 401K is over $15,000 now with a rate of return of 15.3%
