It's the simple law of supply and demand at work. You'll pay top dollar for something when it is in high demand versus when the demand is low. No one is looking to buy clothes out of season except for the smart shopper. find things on clearance for 50-75% full price. Take the money you save on clothes and put it in a nice CD or money market account to grow your money.
